    Shengli SL-5088PCM comprehensive detection and assessment system for the outer anti-corrosive coating conditions of buried pipelines is designed by Jiangsu Shengli specially to provide instructions and assistance for the piping industry. It’s applied to the corrosion and protection of petroleum, natural gas, urban gas and underground water pipelines. However, due to the absence of early detection and diagnosis before pipe network overhaul, it was impossible to duly find the hidden danger in the pipes which were not perforated but whose anti-corrosive and insulating coating was damaged, which was a cause for the repeated perforating after repair of buried pipelines. The aging, friability, peeling, and falling of pipeline protective coating will lead to corrosion and perforation, and then to leakage, causing immeasurable losses.

    Shengli SL-5088PCM can test the buried pipelines without excavation in order to determine and assess the damage conditions of the outer anti-corrosive coating, and can conduct precise location and depth investigation of the pipes, which was unattainable under non-excavation cases before. That detection technology not only works as a test and acceptance means for newly built pipes, but also can regularly monitor the operating pipes.
